Electricity
The regulators of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland, who monitor the energy sector, have signed a memorandum of cooperation to support the synchronisation process of the electricity system of the Baltic States with continental Europe.
The Memorandum sets out the process on how the regulatory authorities of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland will, in a coordinated manner, follow and take the necessary steps to promote the synchronisation of the Baltic States with continental Europe. This is one of the documents that will support the successful implementation of the synchronisation process, scheduled for 2025.
