The obligation of a system operator is to provide services in accordance with the approved tariffs and contract conditions.
A public service provider shall ensure a response to written applications and complaints by users within 30 days after the receipt of an application or complaint.
The requirements for the provision of services in the natural gas supply sector are governed by the following normative acts:
- Energy Law;
- Law On Regulators of Public Utilities;
- Regulations Regarding the Trade and Use of Natural Gas;
- Regulations on Information for End Users of Electricity and Natural Gas;
- Regulations on the Procedure by which an Energy Supply Merchant provides Public Access by Users to the Financial Information of the Merchant;
- Regulations on the Annual Assessment Report of the Natural Gas Transmission System Operator;
- Procedures for Determining the Amount of the Penalty in Electricity and Natural Gas Supply;
- Procedures for Deciding whether Access to Natural Gas Storage Facilities Is Technically and Economically Justified;
- Regulations Regarding Registration of Energy Producers and Traders;
- Terms of Use of Inčukalns Underground Gas Storage Facility;
- Regulations Regarding the Use of Natural Gas Transmission System;
- Regulations Regarding the Criteria by which a Natural Gas Storage System Operator and Liquefied Natural Gas System Operator Determines the Access Mode to a Natural Gas Storage Facility.
